Happy May Day!
NTUC May Day Rally 2026 brought together union leaders, tripartite partners, and workers in a meaningful show of solidarity as we navigate a changing global landscape.
ACEU EXCO leaders were present alongside our Union Advisor, Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, as well as labour movement and national leaders including SM Lee Hsien Loong and Ong Ye Kung. The event provided a valuable opportunity for union leaders across the labour movement to connect, exchange perspectives, and strengthen relationships that support the work we do for our members.
Beyond the gathering itself, the rally served as a timely reminder of the importance of strong and constructive workplace partnerships. ACEU continues to value the close working relationship with Aster, built on mutual respect and a shared commitment towards supporting employees and building a stronger workforce together.
As industries continue to evolve amidst global changes, the labour movement remains an important pillar in ensuring workers stay supported, represented, and prepared for the future. For ACEU, this means continuing to strengthen our support for members through engagement, capability building, and meaningful partnerships.
May Day is also a reminder that behind every workplace, operation, and industry are workers whose contributions continue to keep things moving every single day. ACEU remains committed to putting members first and supporting our workers through both challenges and opportunities ahead.
